Bridging the Gap Between Human Intent and Technical Logic
I am a Senior UX & Human Factors Researcher specializing in high-stakes, technically complex environments. I don’t just deliver insights; I build the frameworks and programs that allow research to scale and drive product strategy.
Strategic Leadership & Program Founding
I have a track record of founding end-to-end UXR programs from the ground up. By establishing rigorous research operations and "Technical Rolodex" frameworks, I’ve transformed how teams at companies like WEX and SingleStore interact with data. My focus is on moving research from a "service" to a strategic pillar, ensuring that human-centered insights are baked into the engineering roadmap from day one.
The Evolution of My Work
My journey began with a focus on data integrity and information architecture. At the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History, I normalized and cross-walked complex archival datasets to ensure long-term usability. At the USDA, I validated large-scale census data to drive national policy recommendations.
This foundation allows me to tackle the most advanced challenges in tech today: ensuring that AI-driven fraud detection and telematics platforms are accurate, compliant, and trustworthy.
My Approach: Rigor + Strategy
By combining the psychological rigor of Human Factors with a "Research Engineer" mindset, I help product teams:
De-risk AI & Machine Learning: Moving beyond black-box logic to build transparent, human-in-the-loop systems.
Optimize High-Complexity Workflows: Streamlining B2B and financial processes where precision is a requirement, not an option.
Scale Research Operations: Designing the systems, templates, and cross-functional partnerships that make research findings accessible and actionable for engineers and executives alike.
Beyond the Research
When I’m not measuring the user experience or auditing model logic, you can find me out on a burrito quest or lusting over guitars I can’t afford.
